Stroma are one of New Zealand ’s finest contemporary chamber ensembles, comprising players from the NZSO and other freelance Wellington performers. This year, they celebrate their tenth anniversary.

Conductor: Hamish McKeich. Featuring Dave Bremner (trombone), Bridget Douglas (flute), Peter Dykes (oboe), Rebecca Struthers (violin) and Lenny Sakovsky (flowerpots).

Concert 2: 10th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT Thursday 12 August, Ilott Theatre
Celebrating Stroma's 10th birthday. Featuring world premieres of new works by Alexandra Hay and Peter Scholes, this concert will also feature the New Zealand premieres of Jeroen Speak's Silk Dialogues (VI) and Karlheinz Stockhausen's Orchester-Finalisten.
