Donations will be collected on the night to assist the Civic Music Council with a shortfall in costs associated with the piano's repair, which was not covered by insurance.

As a result of the February 22 earthquake, the Christchurch concert by Austrian ensemble the Eggner Trio, scheduled for Thursday 17 March at the James Hay Theatre, has unfortunately been cancelled.
