"…the Lautten Compagney fairly take your breath away." Radio NZ National
"…truly the music of friends." NZ Herald
Experience an hour of spectacular music with one of the world’s most acclaimed early music orchestras, The Lautten Compagney from Berlin, Germany.
Direct from sell out performances at the Auckland season of Xerxes and spontaneous standing ovations at their Handel with Care and Timeless concerts as part of the Auckland Arts Festival, The Lautten Compagney have generously donated their time to help support fundraising efforts for Christchurch in its time of need.
You are invited to take an hour out of your hectic week to relax and recharge your batteries while being swept away by the fresh, exquisite playing.
Handel with Care is a sensational selection of music from the operas and oratorios of George Frideric Handel and Henry Purcell. The programme includes Handel's Rinaldo and Amadigi, and Purcell's The Fairy Queen and King Arthur.
All proceeds from Handel with Care go directly to the New Zealand Government’s official Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.
