This year's Grammy Awards will be announced on 31 January. Buried down towards the end of the list, in Field 28, are categories 97 - 107 which cover the classical recordings made between October 1 2008 and August 31 2009.
In the chamber music category Yolanda Kondonassis is nominated in a disc entitled 'Air: Music of Debussy and Takemitsu' with flutist Joshua Smith and violist Cynthia Phelps. Much of the music on the disc was included in the programmes she performed here in 2008 with Alexa Still and Roger Chase.
The Producer of Eroica Trio's disc 'An American Journey', David Frost is also a nominee for Producer of the Year, Classical.
