International guests include English cellist Colin Carr, Hungarian pianist Péter Nagy and Canadian ensemble The Penderecki String Quartet, who will be joined by New Zealand’s leading chamber musicians including the NZ String Quartet, NZTrio, Jenny Wollerman and Diedre Irons, often in exciting collaborative performances.
Highlights include Colin Carr performing all the Bach Suites in one concert, a chamber version of Mahler’s 4th Symphony and Festival favourites such as the Mendelssohn Octet.
