ARTISTS: Sergey Malov (violin), Michael Houstoun (piano)
Winner of the 2011 Michael Hill International Violin Competition, Russian-born Sergey Malov teams up with pianist Michael Houstoun for a spellbinding programme of virtuosic repertoire.
In 2011, Sergey won the International Mozart Competition in Salzburg, before winning a hat-trick as he scooped the top prize along with the inaugural Julian Paul Anderson Award for best chamber music player and the Audience Prize at the Michael Hill International Violin Competition.
Revered pianist Michael Houstoun will once again perform with the winner.
Sergey and Michael will also perform in 10 centres for CMNZ's Kaleidoscopes series.
