Based in Wellington, the Elios String Quartet was formed in late 2007 by four experienced professional string players who have united with the vision of creating a more dynamic and varied concert experience for chamber music audiences.
The concept is to explore an extensive variety of both well known and unusual repertoire and to collaborate with various guest artists for performances. For this tour, their guest is flutist Karen Batten.
